Actually…since our government and board of elections is, for all intents and purposes, still in the 19th Century, you can’t fill out an online petition. What you can do is download a PDF of the independendent nominating form, print it out on Legal Size paper and gather signatures. The form is available for download here:

It’s not that hard, but there are a few basic questions and procedures that you have to follow or they’ll throw it out. If everybody I knew could get 75 signatures and mail the forms back to me, I think we could get more than enough signatures to get on the ballot. The final day for collecting signatures is JULY 14, 2005!
